Should I be geocaching? Or at least maintaining my own caches? At 58 degrees F, one would think that the weather is perfect, but realistically, it is one big mud fest outdoors.
I admit that I neglect my geocaches when snow is present (GC1333B Wise Guys and GC138QR Everybody Loves Ray). I've searched for several caches that had tracks left in the snow, and knowing the condition of my containers, I feel OK leaving them untended until drier ground appears.
What is your opinion on leaving geo-tracks in the snow?

Owning a geocache
I checked on one of my geocaches this week. It was reported missing, and today's visit confirmed it. When owning a geocache, you get a lot of joy in having reports of "Found it! TFTC!" You don't enjoy reports of "It's missing" nearly as much.
Cache maintenance is one thing that keeps me from placing many more caches. I feel that caches ought to bring traffic as long as they can. I would not have placed the cache in a place I perceive as invaluable. How do you deal with maintenance?
